Jamie Quinn (Two Doors Down, Still Game, Casualty, Taggart) is playing Robert Burns.
Nicola Roy (Scot Squad, River City, Hope Springs, Host and Creator of 'The Cultural Coven') is playing our female lead, Emily.
When heartbroken author Emily Winters takes herself away to her aunt’s old cottage in Ayrshire on Burns Night to get over her cheating ex, she gets a visit from a man who knows all about the dating game. None other than the ghost of Scotland’s Bard himself.
Gillian Duffy’s hilarious show demonstrates that love and relationships haven’t changed all that much in the last 200 years, and it has the songs to prove it; My Love is Like a Red Red Rose, Ae Fond Kiss, Charlie is my Darlin’ and, of course, Auld Lang Syne.
