You will learn how to illustrate a variety of seasonal foliage and flowers gathered from Cambo's lovely Georgian Walled Gardens and surrounding Estate, experimenting with loose style and “wet in wet” watercolour techniques to convey the beautiful textures and colours of the seasons.
The all day workshops are designed to introduce beginners and intermediates to the medium of watercolour, helping you nurture and develop your own style.
I will demonstrate over the day and there will be plenty of one-on-one guidance to help enhance your observation and expressive painting skills.
Painting materials will be provided, but if you have your own please bring these, paints, brushes, pencils, watercolour paper & sketching paper.
We will start with a walk round the walled gardens and tea/coffee & introduction. A lovely lunch is also included and a table reserved in the cafe.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
