Help us knit chemistry-related artefacts to celebrate the 275th anniversary of the School of Chemistry at the University of Glasgow. We would like to invite the knitting community, to knit and submit items of scientific interest to share the reasons behind their choice.
After signing up, you’ll be posted a free knitting kit including yarn and pattern charts to enable your participation. You are also welcome to provide your own pattern and/or yarn as long as the item is related to chemistry in some way (e.g. molecules, equipment such as test tubes, Bunsen burners, beakers, etc.).
This event will be delivered online, on Zoom. You will be emailed joining instructions in advance of the event.
The deadline for registering for this event is 15 September, to give time for us to post you a knitting kit. Please note that we can only post materials to UK participants.
This event is part of Explorathon 2021
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
