About Balgove Larder Night Market

Balgove Larder in St Andrews has announced the return of its Night Markets, with the first taking place on Tuesday 6th May. Free to attend, the Night Markets will take place on the first Tuesday of the month between May and September. For the first time, they will also include a Car Boot Sale element, with a curated collection of visitors bringing vintage homeware and clothing.

Balgove Larder focuses on locally grown and produced food and drink, with the Night Markets giving shoppers the chance to meet makers, with live music, street food and demonstrations throughout the Farm Shop and Steak Barn. A former sawmill barn lined with wooden potato crates, The Steak Barn will be serving a tantalising menu of beef, lamb and pork cuts from their home-reared herd and Scottish farms which will change each month to showcase the best in seasonal produce.

Visitors will be able to browse a number of local and Scottish food and drink stallholders as well as meet grower Andrew Naughton who will have a stand selling produce from the Balgove Larder’s market garden.

The 2025 Night Market dates comprise of:
Tuesday 6th May, 5 – 9pm
Tuesday 3rd June, 5 – 9pm
Tuesday 8th July, 5 – 9pm
Tuesday 5th August, 5 – 9pm
Tuesday 2nd September, 5 – 9pm

Balgove Larder is open daily 9am to 5pm. The Steak Barn is open seasonally and does not take bookings.
