Boasting three food and beverage concepts, Rusacks St Andrews – a Marine & Lawn Hotel & Resort – has become a culinary destination year-round. To celebrate the changing season, three new offerings are now available, including new menus, wine and whisky offerings at 18, live music at One Under Bar, and more.
SEASONAL MENU OFFERINGS:
18 and The Bridge offer seasonal menus year-round. Autumn menus are now available, featuring fresh seafood, root vegetables, truffle, spiced desserts, and more.
At 18, that has the best views that St Andrews has to offer will showcase the best of Scottish produce through an array of savoury, seafood forward starters that will sit alongside a daily selection of dry-aged steaks and larger cuts of beef. Highlighted dishes include:
Natural Cumbrae Rock Oysters
Robata Grilled Scallop with white bean and smoked bacon cassoulet
Coal Fired Heritage Beetroots with gazpacho, goats curd and nasturtiums
Large cuts of Hardiesmill Aberdeen Angus beef
Salt Aged Duck with celeriac, confit carrot and braised leg croquette
Monkfish Meuniere served with caramelised cauliflower
Taking inspiration from the rugged shorelines and rolling hills of Italy, southern France and Spain, The Bridge’s seasonal menus are designed to transport diners to sunnier climes. Highlighted dishes include:
Fresh Burrata with courgette and mint scapecce
Truffle Arancini with pecorino and fresh truffle
Fritti Misto with prawns with squid, market fish and garlic aioli
Braised Lamb Shoulder Ragu simmered with garlic, rosemary & red wine
‘The Forager’ pizza topped with mushrooms, fresh ricotta, crema di funghi, rocket and truffle oil
THE BRIDGE £15 PIZZA & WINE OFFER:
This seasonal offer is perfect for a working lunch with colleagues, or those midweek meet ups with friends. The £15 Pizza & Wine offer is available Monday to Thursday, from 12-3pm, 3pm-close, between 9th October and 30th November 2023.
Guests will be also invited to join The Bridge’s loyalty program via the Squid App to earn a free pizza or pasta. Simply visit between 12-6pm Monday-Thursday and collect a stamp for every £15 spent. After 7 stamps, loyalty members will be rewarded with a Tomato Casserecce or Pork Buccatini pasta or Margarita or Pepperoni pizza on the house.

18 – WINE AND WHISKY OFFERINGS:
18 Wine Club has recently launched a wine club, that is free of charge. Benefits include:

Furthering 18’s commitment to celebrating the finest local suppliers, the rooftop restaurant and bar is due to launch a new whisky flight in collaboration with St Andrew’s based distillery, Eden Mill. The 18 X Eden Mill Whisky Flight will be available daily in 18 Bar, offering guests an opportunity to pull up a chair and sip a selection of Eden Mill’s most well-known whiskies. Guests can choose from three different flights and private tastings are available for up to eight people.

THE FESTIVE SEASON AT RUSACKS
Festive Afternoon Tea – It is the most wonderful time of the year in St. Andrews! From 27th November 2023 to 10th January 2024, guests can enjoy a contemporary take on a Christmas afternoon tea created by 18’s talented pastry team. The menu includes a Crayfish, Lemon & Tarragon Brioche, a mouth-watering Clementine, Chocolate & Yuzu Yule Log, and a Spiced Pear Eclair, accompanied by wintery views of the Old Course and West Sands beach. Priced at £39.95 / £49.95 per person with a glass of sparkling wine.
Christmas Day lunch is available at 18 and The Bridge, including a fantastic four-course meal, complimentary glass of sparkling wine on arrival and unrivalled views of the Old Course and West Sands beach. Children will be entertained with a special gift from Santa, plus three courses designed to delight on the big day.

LIVE MUSIC AT ONE UNDER BAR
Get set for some foot tapping fun as live music launches at One Under Bar. From 7pm on Thursday evenings, talented acoustic musician Mic Edgar will perform a diverse range of popular tracks including Jonny Cash classics and Taylor Swift hits. The ideal break from studying or place for a drink with friends, live music is best enjoyed alongside a bite to eat from One Under Bar’s menu, featuring a Smashed Burger with mature cheddar, burger sauce and pickles or Loaded Nachos with cheese, guacamole, jalapenos, sour cream and salsa.
