With friends all celebrated out, post-Christmas fatigue, brand new resolutions, and now, more than ever, the rising cost of living, January birthdays are officially rubbish, with survey results revealing over one-third (35.1%) of Brits agree that those born in the first month of the year were handed the short straw.
To keep the celebrations going through January, Zizzi is launching the January Birthday Jackpot, which makes sure adult guests that are born in January get a guaranteed gift and the celebrations that they deserve.
Each of Zizzi’s 136 restaurants will be giving the first 100 January-born guests a special birthday card, which will reveal the free goodie they will receive, including a free Garlic and Mozzarella Bombe, starter, dessert, soft drink or candy floss. Each restaurant will have one envelope containing the jackpot prize, £100 towards the table’s bill.
To be the first to secure their birthday card, those born in January should make a booking at zizzi.co.uk/birthday or on the Zillionaires’ Club app, available on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, and ask for the JANUARY BIRTHDAY JACKPOT experience in the Special Requests section when booking. The offer is available for guests aged 18+. Guests will need to show valid photo ID in order to claim the offer. Birthday cards will also be available for guests that walk-in and show they have a January birthday.
Corinne Prior, Brand and Customer Experience Director at Zizzi, said: “We know January birthdays are usually rubbish, with friends freshly dedicated to New Year’s resolutions, keen to save money or exhausted from the festive season. But Zizzi is here to flip the script and make January birthdays the most enviable in the calendar. We can’t wait to give all our birthday guests the celebrations they deserve!”
