The Kingswood, an independent hotel owned by the same family for over 30 years, is based on the outskirts of Burntisland, 4 miles west of Kirkcaldy, in the Kingdom of Fife. Nestling in over 2 acres of gardens and woodland, it is uniquely situated to allow panoramic views of the Firth of Forth to Edinburgh. A superb location and genuine hospitality ensures that many of our customers have become familiar faces. We are an ideal base to explore the unrivalled beauty of Fife and surrounding areas and only a 40 minute train journey to the centre of Edinburgh.
Both our Alexander Suite and Conservatory are beautiful Wedding venues as well as private functions and bespoke parties- no matter the event, you are guaranteed a warm welcome at the Kingswood Hotel. Select accommodation or events to see our current offers for midweek breaks and weekend deals together with details of our forthcoming live music events and celebrations including our popular Murder Mystery evenings.
Contemporary surroundings with a hint of tradition well describe our Tall Trees Restaurant. Serving meals every day it is particularly well known for the Sunday Carvery and High Tea Cake Buffet. Having been accepted into Trip Advisor GreenLeaders Program we are strongly committed to reducing our environmental impact and strive to reduce our carbon footprint by continually reviewing and improving our environmental performance.
