The Laurel Bank Hotel is a bit of an institution in Markinch, with a reputation for value and service.
So when we took over the hotel in January 2020, we wanted to return it to its roots, with a love of the town, its people and its traditions.
We like to think we offer an authentically Scottish feel. Nothing pretentious. Never pretending we are something we are not – and most importantly, not a faceless corporation.
We are genuine. We are local. We care.
Our food is fairly simple – but we like to think it’s a little bit special.
Our approach is much the same . . . We hope you enjoy it.
