Our annual summer concerts bring vibrant string music to open, light-filled venues across Scotland. With a programme of music ranging from classical to contemporary, including the second part of our new commission from David Fennessy, Concerts for a Summer’s Night presents a sonic cocktail of bubbling melodies, sweet harmonies, and zesty rhythms.
Returning for its third year, this tour is quickly becoming a highlight of our performance calendar – marking that special moment in Scotland when days stretch longer than nights, and you start to remember the feeling of the sun on your skin (even if it’s amidst the usual Scottish all-seasons-in-one-day!).
The performance lasts approximately 70 minutes with no interval.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
