The Loch Lomond Springfest, one of Scotland’s biggest FREE food festivals, is back on the 2nd and 3rd April with a fantastic line up of food and drink producers, live entertainment, whisky & gin tastings, chef demonstrations, kids’ activities and much, much more.
With a great line up of talent and tempting food and drink from both local producers and from across the UK this year’s festival at Loch Lomond Shores is shaping up to be a great day out for everyone!
Running from 10am to 6pm each day the festival is full of great things to see and do that will keep you busy all day.
For children aged 3-10 years we have FREE Woodland workshops on Saturday between 11am and 2pm. These workshops are 45 minutes long and feature woodland games and activities where you can have fun and learn about taking care of the natural environment. Too book and find out more visit bit.ly/3tfcEA3. Also on Saturday we’ll also have Encanto characters visiting to play games and greet young festival goers. On Sunday we’ll have some interactive street theatre that everyone can enjoy in the form of French waiters. Throughout the weekend we’ll also have small children’s rides.
For keen cooks, Scotland’s Events Chef of the Year 21 – Barry Bryson will be joining us on both Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday he will be hosting a Q&A between 12pm and 1pm while on Sunday he’ll be hosting several FREE cooking demonstrations.
And for whisky and gin fans, Loch Lomond Whiskies are hosting whisky and gin tastings throughout the weekend. Places for these immersive 45 minute tastings are limited and, from only £10, are great value for money. Experts from Loch Lomond Whiskies will guide ticket holders through four of their amazing whiskies or gins with all profits going to Cash For Kids. To find out more and book your place at this exclusive event visit bit.ly/3MTD8yW.
Music fans can also enjoy live entertainment throughout the weekend as we welcome back host Cassi from Radio Clyde as well as a whole host of local talent to entertain you from 10am to 6pm each day.
With its usual huge array of street food and food & craft stalls, it will be hard to pick what to eat and drink and what to take home, with a mix of new vendors and favourites such as The Peruvian, Arran Hog Roast, Scozzese Pizza & Churros Barcelona for hot, fresh food and Three Sister Bake, Berto’s Brownies and Chulo’s Bakes for their delicious cakes, brownies and stuffed cookies!
If you’re ditching the car and taking public transport, you can have a drink at our bar area to enjoy some local craft beers, cocktails, fizz, gin & award-winning wines plus much, much more.
