Sharmanka features an extensive collection of kinetic (moving) sculptures assembled from found objects, beautiful scrap and exquisitely hand carved characters. Each one of these ‘kinemats’ is fused with synchronised soundtrack and bespoke lighting design. Sharmanka presents a variety of dynamic shows layered with cross-cultural stories and mesmerising visuals loved across all generations.

Sharmanka is a visually rich experience. The best way to experience its world is to come and see one of the shows in Glasgow! Each show features a selection of uniquely crafted kinetic artworks, enhanced by synchronised soundtracks and bespoke lighting designs. Hundreds of carved figures and pieces of old scrap perform an incredible mechanical choreography, telling the funny and tragic stories of the human spirit as it struggles against the relentless circles of life and death.

Whether you’re a Glasgow native or a visitor, this truly unique experience is not to be missed!
