Ovenstone 109 is a new brewery in the East Neuk of Fife. We produced our first beer in 2018

We want to make great tasting, unique, craft beers; but then so does every other microbrewery in Scotland. So we want to go a bit further than that. We want to make beer that does good things as well, both for the local community and for Planet Earth.

Our goals are:

Great beer – we want to make delicious beers. The kind of beers that win prizes at the kind of beer festivals where everyone is much younger and hipper than you are.

Green beer – we want to install and develop renewable and sustainable technology in our brewery, with the ultimate goal of one day making beer without burning any of those pesky fossil fuels whatsoever.

Smart beer – we want our beer to help people learn stuff about things. That might be showing visitors exactly how craft beer is made, helping other businesses introduce green technology, or teaching local schoolchildren that science isn’t dull as dishwater but has all sorts of thrilling real-world applications. If you visit our premises or website we want you to leave knowing a tiny little bit more about the world than when you arrived.

Event Hosting:

We are fully licensed and can hold up to 150 guests at our venue. Our place is huge and we have hosted small gatherings of a few folk having dinner and drinks to ceilidhs and funeral gatherings. We don't do our own catering but we have some fantastic contacts that can provide anything from a small buffet to a full on culinary delight. Please get in touch to see what we can do.
