The People, The Town, The Stories! Explore the iconic historic quarter of St Andrews with local guides with many stories.

Join us for a fascinating tour of the East End of St Andrews and Heritage Museum!

Explore the rich history of this beautiful and iconic area with our knowledgeable local guides.

Discover hidden gems, stories, and secrets by exploring St Andrews Castle, Cathedral, St Rule’s Tower, St Mary on the Rock, the historic Harbour and the traditional fishing cottages of the east end of Town, once known as the ‘Ladyhead’.

The tour will finish at St Andrews Heritage Museum & Garden where you can explore local stories and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of the museum garden.

Our guides are happy to accommodate your interests – just let them know at the start of the tour and they can adapt the walk to your specification!

If you wish to book the tour on an alternative day and time please email museum@stapt.org.uk and we will arrange this with you.

The route is relatively flat and pedestrianised, although do be prepared for cobbled streets at some sections.
