An unmissable combination of songs old and new, from York-based singer and singing leader Jessa Liversidge, with an uplifting singing workshop session.
A Tapestry of Song includes all the 'highlights' of Jessa's performances - the singalong opportunities, the heartfelt emotional journey, the warm personality and soaring vocals, the live looping - all combined to create an evening of song that will appeal to a wide range of ages.
Audiences can sing along to well-known pop hits, from Annie Lennox and Sting to Adele and Carole King, as well as sitting back and enjoying new songs and arrangements in an authentic and heartfelt style, featuring Jessa's trademark live looping and warm storytelling through song. Favourites from Jessa's 'a tapestry of life' album, inspired by Carole King's Tapestry and Andrea Brown's poetry - will be included- but mixed in with a whole range of others to create an unforgettable musical experience.
WORKSHOP OPPORTUNITY - Put your cares to one side and join Jessa for an uplifting sing, suitable for all ages and abilities. Whether you are an experienced performer or strictly a shower singer, Jessa will lift your spirits and lead you in song. Warm-ups, vocal technique and vocal health tips, wrapped up in warm harmony and connections. Songs will include classic pop/folk, rounds and original tunes, all taught by ear, with the chance to perform some of the workshop material in the evening performance for those who wish.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
