An embodied workshop to meet Joy through movement, breath, and shared space.
Joy lives in the body — often in the quiet places we forget to visit. In this workshop we create a gentle container to slow down, notice, and truly feel moments of ease, lightness, and delight.
Through somatic movement, conscious breath, periods of rest, simple rituals and healing herbs , we will explore joy as a felt experience, not an ideal.
This is a welcoming space to slow down, connect with your sensations, and meet joy with curiosity and warmth.
What to expect
• Ease-focused movement & breath
• Mini guided rest/awareness segments
• Simple ritual to invite presence
• Exploring the wisdom of plants
• Time for reflection and gentle sharing
Instructions
You are welcome exactly as you are.
No performance. No pressure. Just presence.
Bring
• Comfortable clothes that allow you to move freely
• Notebook + pen
• Anything you want for comfort (blankets, cushion, water, slippers)
The Joy workshop is held in the Yurt Studio, Charleston and we encourage car sharing or hopping on bus number 6 if that works for you.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
