The Junkie Miracles is a new play by Des Dillon, based on harrowing experiences of recovery, don't miss it at Carnegie Hall on 14th March!

The Junkie Miracles

About The Junkie Miracles

The Junkie Miracles is a raw, honest portrayal of addiction and recovery, based on the true stories of four recovering addicts.

Each fall into the abyss and only a miracle can save them. Some make it. Some don’t. This is not a tale of easy redemption. It’s gritty, tragic, and darkly funny, showing addiction at its most chaotic and recovery at its most profound. The play doesn’t shy away from the pain — overdoses, relapses, broken families — but it also celebrates the joy that recovery can bring, not just to the addict, but to everyone around them.

A Story of Pain, Resilience and Fragile Hope
With sharp dialogue and emotional depth, The Junkie Miracles invites audiences to witness the reality behind the headlines. It’s a story of connection, resilience, and the fragile hope of change.

Whether you’ve lived it, loved someone through it, or want to understand it, this play offers truth, not promises. And sometimes, truth is the miracle.
