An evening of words and music exploring witchcraft, belief, justice, and remembrance, inspired by Lilias Adie.
Beneath the stones of Fife lie the voices of those long silenced. Join storyteller Beverley Bryant with musicians Stuart Williamson and Steve Saunders of Celtic Spirit, for a haunting evening inspired by the story of Lilias Adie, the woman accused of witchcraft and buried on the Torryburn shore.
Featuring the premiere of Lily’s Lament, this intimate performance brings history, folk tales and music together in the atmospheric surroundings of Abbot House.
