WDC Shorewatch is a network of volunteers, carrying out regular surveys of whales and dolphins along the Scottish coastline. Join us for this special hands on training day specially for young people (16-25 year olds)!
This training day is split into two sessions (please note that the bookable tickets are only for the first session!):
11AM - 12:30PM - Coastline Community Church, Session St, Pittenweem, KY10 2QL
Learn how how to identify different species of whales and dolphins and how you can contribute towards the conservation of these incredible creatures in this informal introductory session.
Free, but booking is essential! Click HERE to reserve your spot for this session.
1:30PM - 3:30PM - West Braes, Pittenweem, KY10 2PT
Apply your newfound knowledge and try surveying out on the shore at West Braes! All equipment will be provided.
You can alternatively attend this second session on a drop-in basis - just come find us at the site!
Free refreshments will be available, courtesy of the West Braes Project.
