For more info about Letham Nights: https://letham.org.uk/lethamnights/
Traditional Scottish, Irish and English folk music played at a slower pace in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Ideal for beginner and intermediate players, but everyone wanting to play welcome! We have two session leaders for this session (around 45 min each): MoragAnne Elder (fiddle) and Robert McGregor (whistle)! Sheet music is allowed and welcomed. Without an audience and so particularly beginner-friendly. Sets will be pre-set two weeks before the session and the music sent to participants so they can practice al gusto. Suggestions for tunes to be played are welcome before that!
There will be tea and coffee during the break and you could even bring your own bottle if you are in the mood :)
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
