We will meet at the Dreel Halls in Anstruther at 1pm. Here we will do some simple craft activities, making bird feeders. Then we will wander over for an hour of birdwatching before coming back to the Dreel Halls for a hot chocolate.
Participants who bring along a drawing or poem of their favorite bird or the woodlands will also be entered into a competition, there will be some materials on the day to take part too - suitable for all ages!
The RSPB takes part in this event every year. However, this is the first event organized by the Anstruther Allotments in conjunction with our public consultation on the proposed community asset transfer in the area.
On the day, we will also be taking ideas, hopes and dreams for the Dreelside Woods as well as inviting members to join the project. This is to ensure the Dreelside Woods is preserved as a biodiverse and managed natural habitat for wildlife and a community right of way.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
