Every primary school does a nativity and every child wants to be cast in it. In Coventry, Mr Maddens is in charge of putting on the school nativity play, a musical extravaganza. Mr Maddens has promised this year will be different, not only will St Bernadette’s School get the five-star review, a Hollywood producer is going to come see the show and hopefully turn it into a film. Mr Madden and his quirky new teaching assistant Mr Poppy need to turn the children into stars.
