That’s the magic of Doors Open Days; you can be a tourist in your own town or discover a new place entirely – including some buildings and spaces not normally open to the public.
Don’t miss this annual opportunity to see inside some of the most interesting places that Fife has to offer.
Burntisland Heritage Trust - 10th September 2023
Visit the Heritage Trust's newest display and learn the story of the shipyards of Kinghorn and Burntisland that supplied many ships for Britain's Merchant Marine during war and peace. The historic Burgh Chambers will also be open to visitors.
Burntisland Parish Church - 9 & 10 September 2023
Visit this historically important church, the earliest built in Scotland after the Reformation and still in use. It is of a highly distinctive original Scottish design, and is notable for its many carved and painted 17thC wooden panels.
Dysart St Clair Parish Church - 10 September 2023
There is only one example of Charles Rennie Mackintosh’s work on the east coast of Scotland and it can be seen in Dysart St Clair Church of Scotland.
Dysart Town Hall - 10th September 2023
Visit the Town Hall and view the trust’s permanent exhibition of items relating to Dysart’s social and industrial past. Old school photographs and evocative local memorabilia are of particular interest.
Greener Kirkcaldy Gardens - 9 September 2023

Come along to our Open Day at our Ravenscraig Garden where we grow fruit and veg, plant trees and flowers, and make habitats for biodiversity. Learn about our training courses and volunteering opportunities.
Kirkcaldy Art Club - 10 September 2023
Visitors can tour our historic building, see an exhibition of members' work, have refreshments and there will be children's activities.
Kirkcaldy Townhouse - 9 September 2023

Construction of Kirkcaldy Town House started in 1937, but only the foundations were laid before WWII delayed the work for several years. The building has many unique features contributed by several artists, designers and craftsmen.
Lang Toun Cycles - 9 September 2023

Lang Toun Cycles is a community bike shop offering servicing and repairs and investing in helping more people in the Kirkcaldy area get into cycling. Come along and have a tour of our workshop.
Law's Close ~ The Merchant's House - 10 September 2023
More widely known as the "Merchant's House" this building is one of the finest surviving 16th century town houses in Scotland. An extended conservation programme of the house revealed many original architectural features that can now be seen following its restoration.
Pathhead Parish Church - 9-10 September 2023

Ravenscraig Walled Garden - 10 September 2023
Visit our Community Allotment site within the historic Ravenscraig walled garden. Children are welcome to visit and enjoy the walks around and through the gardens.

Wemyss Artists Exhibition - 2-3 September 2023
Come to the opening of our exhibition of the work of Wemyss Artist & Artisans, and follow our activities and daily updates on our Facebook page throughout the exhibition.
