Created for Fife Contemporary by artist/designer Sebastian Chaloner, and actor/writer Lesley Acheson, the Trail of Thought gives you a free rein to discover the hidden artworks as you walk within Falkland Estate, up and around the Temple of Decision. There is no right or wrong route – but we’ve provided a map to help you find all 7 of them!
The Trail length is approximately 7km (nearly 4.5 miles), so a good way to tire out walkers of all ages (but thankfully there is respite available from The Stables Hub and also Pillars of Hercules!).
We are encouraging car-driving visitors to the Trail to use the larger Forest of Falkland Gateway carpark (near Pillars).
Many thanks to Falkland Estate and the Woodland Hub for partnering us in this summer project!

Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
