Sat 5th June or Sat 7 Aug
Come along and learn how to saw, solder, form and texture your own silver rings from scratch, before adding your own bespoke embellishments.
In this workshop, you will create hammered texture rings using both traditional and contemporary jewellery techniques. After creating your ring you will get a chance to solder on a decorative finishing statement to your ring, using silver wire or sheet such as:
A wire shape, a textured disc, a solid ball/s, a cut out shape, a stamped initial etc
The perfect class for an individual or a group of friends to come and learn, socialise and most importantly, to make some jewellery to take home!
Once fully formed and textured, we will scrub and polish the rings, ready to wear home that day!
During the class you will learn how to size, saw, solder, shape, texture, file, stamp, cut and form silver for your ring/s.
The workshop will run for approx. 3.5-4 hours.
All materials, including silver will be included.
Please note, that this class will need 4 people to run. If the class is under-subscribed, the studio reserves the right to reschedule. You will be notified at least 4 days before the class if the class cannot run, and will have the option to be refunded in this instance.
Private parties:
At the moment, if you have a group of 4-6 people we can offer you a private workshop at no extra cost on a date that suits you, where available. Email hello@eastnook.com to discuss the private options
