Hear Ifor ap Glyn, Peter Mackay, Ciara ní É and Pól Mag Uidhir talk about ‘Bàrd- File – Bardd’
The digital poetry collaboration Bàrd, File, Bardd brought together poets from Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland to celebrate and explore the connections between the Welsh, Irish and Scottish Gaelic languages. The collaboration resulted in a number of filmpoems, a selection of which can be viewed as part of StAnza 2021’s poetry film programme. Join Ifor ap Glyn, current Bardd Cenedlaethol (National Poet of Wales), to hear him talk with Ciara ní É, DCU’s writer in residence 2020, Scots Gaelic poet and broadcaster Pàdraig MacAoidh / Peter Mackay and award-winning writer and filmmaker Pól Mag Uidhir about their collaboration.
This event will take place on Zoom.
In association with Bàrd – File – Bardd and supported by Llenyddiaeth Cymru / Literature Wales
Participants: Ifor ap Glyn, Peter Mackay, Pól Mag Uidhir, and Ciara Ní É
