Girlguiding, the UK’s leading charity for girls and young women has partnered with children’s theatre company Join the Dots to launch its first virtual pantomime ‘Sisterhood in the Wood’.
When two girls, Red and Goldie, find themselves magically transported into a forest they must learn how to be kind to one another and appreciate their surroundings. In the end, they learn about determination, resilience and working together from some wonderful Girlguiding girls!
We’re bringing the full panto experience online, complete with dancing and ways to get involved from the comfort of your own home. We’ve got some special activities for you to try before the show, so keep an eye on this page and on our social channels.
On Saturday 5 December, tune in live on www.girlguiding.org.uk or on our YouTube channel www.youtube.com/user/girlguiding. We’ll keep the show available on our channel if you want to watch it again or if you can’t watch at 4pm.
While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Sisterhood In The Wood are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment. All information (whether in text or photographs) is given in good faith but should not be relied upon as being a statement of representation or fact.
These weekly online Bookbug sessions are fun for little ones aged 0-4 and their grownups, using Zoom.
