Interactive Seaweed Workshop

About Interactive Seaweed Workshop

Do you want to gain skills and confidence to:

Identify & forage seaweed?

Work with the tides and weather patterns in your area?

Stay safe and respectful on the shore?

Use your harvests in delicious dishes and store it effectively?

Although there is nothing like a real-life in-person experience out on the rocks, I have designed these workshops to be the next best thing to my foraging tours and they also contain:

An interactive "live" experience on the rocks with descriptions and further information

“Live” cooking demonstration

and have a lot of added extras such as:

Printable species calendar

Alternative ways of sourcing seaweed when harvesting is not an option

Recipe cards & nutritional information

Customisable risk assessments, safety guide and equipment lists

Ongoing support

Option of seaweed samples in the post

You will need a reliable internet connection and zoom.

If you have any issues with this please get in touch and we can give support or suggest alternatives.

While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Interactive Seaweed Workshop are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment. All information (whether in text or photographs) is given in good faith but should not be relied upon as being a statement of representation or fact.
