About Friend or Foe?

Meet both supporters and deposers of Mary Queen of Scots as she wrestles to hold onto the reins of power. Explore the encampment where you will see weapons on display, meet the soldiers, and enjoy a dazzling fashion show.

Wander through the living history camp, play games, find out about early medical science from our barber-surgeon, and learn about one of Mary’s hobbies – astronomy!

Included in the admission price to Aberdour Castle. No booking required.
