About Letham Nights #64 - Tom McGuire & The Brassholes

Well, we’ve only gone and booked what we think is probably the hottest funk-soul outfit going in the UK at the moment: Glasgow-based Tom Maguire & The Brassholes!

Tom McGuire & The Brassholes are an eclectic, modern soul-funk, 8 piece band from Glasgow, headed by lumberjack-attired soul bearer, Tom McGuire. The funky collective of “killer animals from hell”, consists of a colourful, hilarious bunch of wonderfully talented, animated young men. They provide energetic, bombastic funk and soul, imbibed with meaning. Their debut self-titled album is out now and you can come and see them LIVE in the village hall.

The place is going to be jumping!

And, what's more, we have just booked Fraser Ross - ‘New Zealand’s best kept musical secret’ to open the evening. A serious talent and a brilliant, loud-shirted presence within the New Zealand underground.
It must be nearly 5 years since we first saw Fraser Ross live and offered him a slot at Letham Nights. The dates never quite worked out before he returned to New Zealand in 2015. And now he’s back! And we’ve booked him! So all is well with the world.

Letham Nights is a small, voluntary, community run venue putting on high quality music around 6 times a year. We pride ourselves in providing the audience with a warm, welcoming atmosphere and top quality music and giving the musicians an open, music-loving audience!

The Clap and Tipple Bar is there to provide you with a fantastic range of locally sourced and fair trade drinks.

There is also space for dancing!

Don't miss out!

Tickets are already going fast so you need to get booking quickly!

While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Letham Nights #64 - Tom McGuire & The Brassholes are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
