Threads, War and Conflict: Film and Creative Evening

To compliment the Threads, War and Conflict exhibition, The Byre Theatre is holding Film and Creative Evenings on 5th and 26th April.

Threads, War and Conflict: Film and Creative Evening

About Threads, War and Conflict: Film and Creative Evening

Threads, War and Conflict presents textile stories of violence and resistance. Addressing past and present political issues, the exhibition reflects on gendered violence, disappearance, displacement and migration. Throughout April there will be a programme of events to complement the exhibition to include textile workshops, film screenings and academic discussions. The exhibition is supported by the School of International Relations in cooperation with The Byre Theatre.

Beginning with a film screening, these events combine music, poetry and performance to discuss the themes of the exhibition including gendered violence, disappearance, displacement and migration.

While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Threads, War and Conflict: Film and Creative Evening are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
