It is an event in the town’s calendar that’s not to be missed. What’s more, it is free to watch. Lots is planned, not only to entertain folk of all ages but to encourage participation – all starting from 10.30am.

There will be Highland dancing, athletic running events and the traditional heavy events – all on the beach. The storm road will also be home to local stall holders. After the Games, make the most of the day and wander back to the town centre to one of Kirkcaldy’s numerous cafes, restaurants and bars. The Games are a spectacle like no other set against the stunning Firth of Forth – colourful displays of dance together with races, the evocative pipes and more.
