Nests

Nests is a fairy-tale for Scotland’s Year of Young People that questions how our society treats the young and vulnerable, catch it at The Byre Theatre in September!

Nests

About Nests

You’ve chosen to take yourself away from things but me, I’m invisible.’

A boy on the run.

A listening crow.

A man who wants to be lost.

As our world becomes more disparate and broken, NESTS questions if our children and young people are being systematically and ideologically let down by society.

A frightened, starving boy and his only friend, a crow, encounter a man on the edge of society trying to forget his past. Poetry and magical realism meet real-life media broadcast in this moving fairy-tale for today that questions how our society treats the young and vulnerable.

Age 12+

While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Nests are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
